A train with the Soyuz-2.1b rocket stages manufactured by Progress Rocket Space Center (Samara, part of Roscosmos), as well as two payload fairings arrived to Ledyanaya station near the Vostochny Cosmodrome. The Vostochny Space Center (TsENKI branch, part of Roscosmos) specialists met the train and transferred it to unified technical complex.
Railcars with space rocket integrated parts are located on the territory of technical complex. According to the integrated work schedule after February 24, 2021 launching crew will start mounting of the first and the second stages of the rocket. The Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle is intended for the mission under contract with a foreign customer.
Parts of three more Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicles, two payload fairings, one Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket are stored at assembly and testing facility of unified technical complex. The Soyuz-2.1a and Soyuz-2.1b rockets are intended for Meteor and Luna-25 spacecraft. Besides, two Soyuz-2.1b rockets are assembled for missions under contracts with a foreign customer.
