The expert jury noted the airline's effective decisions in terms of preserving the route network in the context of the coronavirus pandemic and social responsibility initiatives.

S7 Airlines, a member of the oneworld global aviation alliance, won the Skyway Service Award in the single nomination "Best Airline - Meeting Challenges 2020".

Thanks to an effective strategy for the development of the route network and the air fleet, in April – December 2020, S7 Airlines managed to retain the leadership in terms of passenger traffic in the Russian market. Over the past year, the airline carried 12.3 million passengers. 11.3 million passengers used flights within Russia.

The jury of the award separately noted S7 Airlines for the implementation of an important social initiative - the launch of the Doctors on Board privilege program for medical workers, created jointly with the Association of Aviation Medicine Physicians. When buying an air ticket on s7.ru, program participants, if they wish, can mark whether they are ready to provide first aid in flight. The information is transmitted to the crew in advance, and if necessary, the flight attendant will be able to seek advice from a medical worker. Doctors on Board members receive various privileges when flying with S7 Airlines, while the decision to provide assistance always remains with the doctor, and access to bonuses does not depend on him.

On the eve of the New Year, S7 Airlines opened a recreation area for doctors at City Clinical Hospital No. 40 in Kommunarka. In the common space, medics can drink coffee, watch TV or movies, play table football or video games between shifts. The relaxation area with soft armchairs, dim lights and plants allows you to switch and spend a few minutes in peace. In the third zone, you can use computers, Wi-Fi and a charging station for gadgets. The airline plans to build such recreation areas in several more hospitals in Russia.
