Ural Airlines won the Skyway Service Award

Ural Airlines received an award in the category "Best Airline Resisting Challenges 2020".

Award experts evaluated the airline's achievements and its anti-crisis solutions in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. So, in 2020, Ural Airlines was one of the first to join the program of export flights upon the return of Russians home. As a result of the program, the airline received commemorative medals of the President of Russia for its contribution to the organization of the #We areTogether campaign and letters of thanks from consulates of different countries. In addition, the airline has significantly increased its cargo turnover and entered a new market for cargo transportation, re-equipment of 12 aircraft. Important anti-crisis solutions were also: additional sanitary requirements for aircraft handling, revision of contractual relations with lessors, optimization of the agency network, renewal of the Wings loyalty program for frequent flyers, etc.

In total, 10 airlines and 38 airports were nominated for the award this year. The award ceremony for the annual industry award "Skyway Service Award" took place yesterday in Moscow. It was timed to coincide with the Civil Aviation Day in Russia.
