The crews of the Tu-142MZ conducted a search, classification and tracking of underwater and surface ships that designated a mock enemy. Along the way, the pilots improved the skills of passing a given course over undirected terrain and coordination of actions when piloting in the absence of ground-based radio-technical means of air navigation.
In addition, the Il-38N anti-submarine aircraft of the naval aviation of the Pacific Fleet worked out training tasks over the waters of the Pacific Ocean.
