The Northern Capital Gateway Company, which manages Pulkovo Airport, announces the opening of a connection between St. Petersburg and Sofia (Bulgaria) by Wizz Air.

This is the first flight from Pulkovo airport, which will open under the regime of lifting restrictions on flights of foreign airlines in the seventh degree of freedom of airspace.

The airline Wizz Air plans to operate flights to the capital of Bulgaria from December 15, twice a week: on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The route will be operated by Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft.

According to the schedule, on Wednesdays, departure from Sofia is at 14:50, arrival in Pulkovo is at 18:55. Departure of the return flight from St. Petersburg is at 19:30, arrival in Sofia is at 21:45. On Saturdays, departure from Sofia is at 16:10, arrival at Pulkovo is at 20:15. The return flight will depart from the Northern capital at 20:50 and arrive in Sofia at 23:05. Time is local.
