On October 31, 2021, Qatar Airways operated its first flight on the Doha - Moscow (Sheremetyevo) - Doha route from Sheremetyevo International Airport. The opening of flights on this route has become possible due to the resumption of flights between Qatar and the Russian Federation. Flights will be operated daily: on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays (arrival at 13:10 Moscow time, departure at 18:10 Moscow time) and on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays (arrival at 07:50 Moscow time, departure at 18:10 Moscow time) on modern Boeing 777-300 airliners.
