At Sheremetyevo Airport, on the apron of the new Terminal With the third independent refueling complex of AERO-Sheremetyevo JSC, a centralized aircraft refueling system (CS system) was put into commercial operation, and six new hydrant dispensers for refueling aircraft (VS) from the CS hydrant system were purchased. This was reported by the press service of the airport
The CS system on the apron of Terminal C of the Sheremetyevo Northern Terminal Complex was built in accordance with the project implementation plan "Feeder pipelines and the hydrant system of Terminal C "Stage No. 1"" and includes 28 hydrant columns that provide the possibility of refueling all types of aircraft at 19 aircraft parking lots. At the same time, in the aggregate, the TSS system of JSC AERO-Sheremetyevo, taking into account the first stage of construction, has 77 hydrant columns that provide the possibility of refueling all types of aircraft at 46 aircraft parking spots on the aprons of Terminals B and C.
The six hydrant dispensers put into operation have a reduced height of the landing gear and superstructure, which allows them to be placed directly under the wing of the aircraft during refueling to save space in the aircraft service area, thereby optimizing the flight service time on the ground.
The project of the third TPC was implemented by AERO-Sheremetyevo JSC (a joint venture of LUKOIL-AERO LLC and MASH JSC) as part of a long-term airport development program. The capacity of the complex is 1.2 million tons of jet fuel per year, the nominal volume of the tank farm is 20 thousand m3 with the possibility of increasing to 25 thousand m3.
LLC LUKOIL-AERO was founded in 2003 and is a subsidiary of PJSC LUKOIL. The company sells jet fuel wholesale and "in the wing" at airports of the Russian Federation and abroad. The field of activity covers more than 30 airports in Russia and abroad. The company's clients are the largest Russian and foreign airlines.
