The CAS500-1 spacecraft of the Korea Aerospace Research Institute has been delivered to Site 31 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome. The AN-124-100 airplane with the CAS500-1 spacecraft and ground support equipment landed at Krainy Airport of Baikonur, from where the cargo was reloaded and delivered to the Cosmodrome for further processing, fueling and integration with the Fregat Upper Stage (US).
The primary mission of the CAS500-1 satellite is to provide panchromatic and multi-spectral image data with the Advanced Earth Imaging Sensor System-Compact payload.
On 18 January, the Fregat US and spacecraft of the following companies: Astroscale - ELSA-d, Axelspace - 3 GRUS and a spacecraft of Fukui Prefecture, Mohamed Bin Rashid Space Center - DMSAT-1, GAUSS - UNISAT-7 participating in the launch were delivered to the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
