The crews of the Mi-28N Night Hunter attack helicopters of the army aviation regiment of the Southern Military District, based in the Kuban, worked out a cross change of positions and a sharp change in directions when conducting night air combat at a minimum altitude of 100 m.

The helicopter pilots fought close-quarters combat at permissible altitudes, performing complex figures to carry out a repeated attack of a mock enemy or to exit a mock battle.

The helicopter crews mastered combat and forced turns, turn and turn “on a hill”, dive with different pitch angles.

During the flights, the crews of the Mi-28N helicopters as part of the flight also practiced hovering above the ground and vertical landing at the minimum distance between the helicopters.

Practicing aerobatics in a helicopter allows the crew to fully master the aircraft, gain air combat skills, and also better navigate the helicopter's instruments.

More than 50 military personnel of flight and technical personnel took part in the flights, 6 helicopters of the Southern Military District were involved.
