Energomash conducted successful tests of RD-180 and RD-191 rocket engines

In the end of 2020, NPO Energomash (part of Roscosmos) conducted a successful firing test of the RD-180 rocket engine. The tests went as expected.

The RD-180 liquid-propellant rocket engine is designed and manufactured by NPO Energomash and intended for use in the American Atlas launch vehicles.

In addition, in the end of December 2020, successful tests of the RD-191 liquid-propellant rocket engine, developed for the Russian Angara launch vehicle, were carried out.
