Russia's Ministry of Economic Development expects a 53.2% air traffic reduction to 60 million people this year, the Ministry informed. This reported by AK&M Information Agency.

In 2023, however, the Ministry of Economic Development predicts an increase in the number of passengers by 5.2% to 134.8 million. The growth is expected to be driven by the measures currently being implemented to support the domestic air carriage and the airport infrastructure modernization, as well as the creation of large multi-modal hubs at airports.
