More than 10 Ka-52 and Mi-28N attack helicopters have completed relocation to one of the airfields in the Astrakhan region as part of the maneuvers "Kavkaz-2020".

Army aviation pilots took off from airfields in the Southern Military District, covering an average of 500 km non-stop.

At the moment, helicopters are carrying out post-flight maintenance and training of aviation equipment to perform tasks for the combat use of aircraft weapons and air support for land forces during the manuvers "Kavkaz-2020".

The flight crew started studying the area of upcoming flights, working out simulators on equipment and organizing interaction with flight management groups at airfields and training grounds in the Astrakhan region.
