The Federal Air Transport Agency approved the allocation of subsidies to Russian airports introduced due to the situation with the coronavirus infection COVID-19. This reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the relevant document.
"As of September 1, 2020, 289 applications for a total amount of 9.1 billion rubles were submitted to the Federal Air Transport Agency from 108 airport operators, of which a positive decision was made on 268 applications for 8.67 billion rubles. In fact, the funds were brought to 88 recipients in the amount of 8.12 billion rubles, " the materials say.
Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin ordered to increase the amount of subsidies to socially oriented non-profit organizations for the prevention of coronavirus.
