Venezuelan state airline Conviasa has received a permit to carry regular flights between Moscow and Caracas, Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency said in a statement on Friday.

"The Venezuelan authorities have appointed airline Conviasa to carry passenger, cargo, mail flights to the Russian Federation… The schedule and routes: two flights per week on the route Maiquetia (airport of Caracas) – Moscow – Maiquetia," the documents read.

The flight connection between the countries is closed due to the pandemic.
