Rossiya Airlines, together with its travel partner Biblio Globus, has started a programme of flights from the cities of the Far East to Sochi and Crimea. The first flight was Khabarovsk–Simferopol.

Following the demand of residents of the Far Eastern region, Rossiya together with Biblio Globus offers passengers a comprehensive tourist product. It includes air transportation, transfer, hotel accommodation, and, if desired, all-inclusive meals and tour services.

In the summer season, Rossiya plans to transport about 50 thousand passengers from the Far East to the southern resorts.

The load factor of the first liner was 100%.

«The epidemiological situation has pushed the industry enterprises to quickly reallocate transport flows and open new domestic destinations. Supporting the trend of transport accessibility, Rossiya is now opening air transportation between the Far East and cities on the Black sea coast. Residents of Khabarovsk and Vladivostok will be able to fly to Sochi or Simferopol via a direct flight. The flights operated in the bypass of Moscow, will save time and money. And parameters of environmental friendliness of travel are improved by reducing the duration of flights», – said the Minister of Transport of Russia Yevgeny Dietrich.

The inaugural flight from Vladivostok to Sochi will take place on July 6. Direct flights from the Far East are operated on wide-body Boeing 747-400 in a two-class cabins - economy and business classes.

Currently, due to the restrictions, flights to international destinations are not operated, so .we need an alternative – it can rightfully be considered the largest Russian resorts that are actively developing today. Today's event was the result of rapid and well-coordinated cooperation between Khabarovsk International Airport and Rossiya Airlines. I hope that new flights to the Black sea coast will be in demand not only during this holiday season, but they will remain in the schedule of Khabarovsk Airport even after the resumption of international flights», – said Konstantin Basyuk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Khabarovsk Airport JSC.
