Crews of Ka-29 transport and combat helicopters of the mixed aviation regiment in the north-east of Russia conducted an exercise during which they attacked the coastal and surface targets of the mock enemy.

At the aviation sea test site, two Ka-29 helicopters struck unguided aircraft missiles and aircraft guns at a target position simulating small surface ships of a mock enemy. Also, the crews worked out the defeat of targets on the coast. The fire was directed at targets indicating fortified firing points, military equipment and personnel of the "enemy" landing force.

During the exercise, 15 aircraft missiles were launched.
