Specialists from RSC Energia and SC Yuzhnyi completed leak tests of the Progress MS-15 cargo spacecraft in the vacuum chamber of the integration and test facility at Area 254 of the Baikonur launch site.

The pneumatic vacuum test cycle of large-size space hardware using a helium-air medium in test volumes is the most objective method of monitoring the stringent requirements for pressurization integrity of spacecraft compartments and onboard systems under ground conditions.

The launch of upgraded launch vehicle Soyuz-2.1а carrying Progress MS-15 is scheduled for July 23, 2020 from Area No.31 of the Baikonur launch site. Progress MS-15 unmanned cargo spacecraft will deliver propellant, water and gas supplies, as well as service equipment and life support equipment to the 63rd Expedition crew under the 76th mission of the ISS re-supply program.
