Four Tu-95MS strategic missile-carrying bombers of the Long-range aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces carried out a planned flight over international waters of the Chukchi, Bering and Okhotsk seas, as well as the northern part of the Pacific Ocean.
The aircraft took off from the airfields in the Chukotka Autonomous District and the Amur region.
At certain stages of the route, Russian aircraft were escorted by F-22 fighters of the USAF.
The flight lasted for about 11 hours.
Long-range aviation pilots regularly perform flights over international waters of the Arctic, North Atlantic, the Pacific Ocean, as well as the Black and Baltic seas.
All flights of the Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft are carried out in strict compliance with the International laws on the use of airspace.
