The fourth Il-76 aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces arrived at the Chkalovsky airfield (Moscow region) with military personnel and special military equipment from the combined detachment of the Russian Defence Ministry, which was performing tasks to help combat coronavirus infection in the territory of the Republic of Serbia.

All arriving servicemen passed thermometry and mandatory sanitary and epidemiological measures.

Earlier it was reported that on May 17, three flights to Russia from Serbia will deliver more than 20 military personnel and 5 pieces of special military equipment.

From April 4 to May 16, 2020, specialists of the Russian NBCP troops of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, together with the Serbian servicemen, carried out disinfection of medical facilities and socially significant facilities in more than 40 settlements of Serbia. 376 buildings and structures were processed, more than 1 million 685 thousand square meters of internal premises, more than 500 thousand square meters of paved roads.

Eight medical and nursing teams participated in the examination and treatment of 881 patients infected with Covid-19. Russian epidemiologists and virologists conducted an assessment and analysis of the epidemiological situation, made recommendations on the implementation of anti-epidemic measures in medical facilities in more than 30 cities of Serbia.
