According to the flight program of the International Space Station, a scheduled orbit correction was performed on April 19, 2020. The correctional maneuver was performed automatically using Zvezda module vernier engines.
The engines were switched on at 05:09 UTC for 58.5 seconds giving the station velocity increment of 0.97 meters per second.
According to TsNIIMashMission Control Center (part of Roscosmos) data, the station orbit parameters after the correction are as follows:
Rotation period — 92.88 min;
Orbit inclination — 51.66 deg.
Minimal altitude over the Earth’s surface — 417.69 km;
Maximum altitude over the Earth’s surface — 436.62 km;
The adjustment was conducted to form a working orbit prior to the Progress MS-14 launch and docking scheduled for April 25, 2020 at 01:51 UTC and 05:13 UTC respectively. The launch preparations are nearing completion now at the Baikonur Cosmodrome. The cargo spacecraft will deliver fuel and gas supplies to the ISS, as well as service equipment and life support means according to the 75thISS supply mission.
