As part of the implementation of the decisions of the Operational Headquarters of the Government of the Russian Federation on the prevention of the importation and spread of new coronavirus infection, the Decree of the Mayor of Moscow and the Decree of the Governor of the Moscow Region on additional restrictive measures of March 29, 2020, the following measures were implemented at Sheremetyevo International Airport:

- in order to maintain social distance (at least 1.5 m) in places of possible passenger congestion, bright floor markings are applied (including on the check-in line, in the pre-flight inspection zone, passport control zone, baggage claim area);

- in the arrivals areas posted info manuals “Arrived from abroad? Stay at home" about the method of remotely issuing a sick leave without violating the regime of self-isolation. The QR code posted on the poster leads directly to the e-sick leave registration page.

- At Sheremetyevo Airport, disinfection of all rooms has been strengthened, the frequency of wet cleaning has been increased. The most stringent measures are taken in Terminal F. When exiting the terminal traps of Terminal F, special coatings are impregnated with a disinfectant for handling passenger shoes. 

Sheremetyevo Airport temporarily closes Terminal D (from 00:00 Moscow time 04/01/2020). This measure was taken due to the reduction in passenger traffic and the introduction of additional restrictions in the field of international air transportation.

Domestic flights of Aeroflot, Rossiya Airlines, Ikar, Nordwind Airlines, Severstal, Ural Airlines are transferred from Terminal D to Terminal B.

Starting April 1, all international flights will be serviced at Terminal F. 

All passengers arriving at Terminal F undergo triple medical control:

• On board the aircraft, the condition of passengers is monitored by Rospotrebnadzor employees using portable thermal imagers.
• Stationary thermal imagers are located in the arrivals area, with the help of which Rospotrebnadzor experts carry out total temperature control of arriving passengers.
• In the baggage claim area, an additional check, questioning of passengers by employees of the Moscow Department of Health, the Ministry of Health of the Moscow Region, and Rospotrebnadzor should follow.
• At each stage, if necessary, or when identifying passengers with signs of a disease, the personnel of the medical unit of SIA JSC are connected. In case of suspicion of an infectious disease, the passenger immediately moves to the isolation ward of the health center for subsequent hospitalization in the infectious diseases hospital.

At Sheremetyevo Airport, passengers were fully informed about the prevention of the spread of coronavirus infection, sound announcements were broadcast, information descriptions of Rospotrebnadzor were posted on information desks and on monitors in the airport terminals.
