Naval aviation of the Black Sea Fleet conducts a tactical flight exercise with the performance of combat training

The crews of fighters and bombers of a separate naval assault aviation regiment, as well as the crews of helicopters and aircraft of a separate mixed aviation regiment of naval aviation and air defence of the Black Sea Fleet conduct an active phase of tactical flight exercise with the implementation of combat tasks at combat training grounds in the Republic of Crimea.

During the first stage of the exercise, the crews of aircraft and helicopters worked out measures to withdraw forces from the attack of the mock enemy with the further relocation of aircraft to spare airfields.

During the second stage, the Su-24M and Su-30SM pilots launched unguided missiles and bombed ground and naval targets, crews of anti-submarine aircraft and helicopters searched for a mock enemy submarine, and military transport aviation pilots carried out training activities for the transportation and landing of cargo.

The crews of Su-24MR reconnaissance planes, Su-24M front-line bombers, Su-30SM multi-task fighters, An-26 planes, Be-12 anti-submarine amphibious aircraft, Mi-8 and Ka-27 helicopters, more than 30 units from the naval aviation and air defenсe of the Black Sea Fleet were involved in the events.
