Soyuz MS-16 Russian prime crew members - Roscosmos cosmonauts Nikolay Tikhonov and Andrey Babkin will be replaced by the backup cosmonauts for medical grounds, with Anatoly Ivanishin and Ivan Vagner becoming the spacecraft commander and flight engineer respectively. NASA astronaut Chris Cassidy continues his preparations for the flight in accordance with the schedule.
The Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket with Soyuz MS-16 crewed spacecraft and ISS-63 mission participants is scheduled to lift off on April 9, 2020 from the launchpad No. 31 at the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
