Azimuth Airlines, the carrier of the South of Russia, made its first flight from Platov Airport (Rostov-on-Don) to the city of Istanbul as the cultural center of the Republic of Turkey and one of the largest cities in Europe. This reported by airline's press-service.

By tradition, the Azimuth Airlines congratulated the first passenger and gifted a certificate for a free flight on the route network. After landing at the Istanbul International Airport the crew and passengers were greeted with flowers.

Flights are operated according to the following schedule: Departure from Rostov-on-Don at 09:55, landing in Istanbul at 12:30; Departure from Istanbul at 13:30, landing in Rostov-on-Don at 15:50.
