Rossiya Airlines received the highest safety rating according to the international Agency Airline Ratings.

Rossiya Airlines is among the safest airlines in the world according to the international Agency Airline Ratings. Rossiya received the highest safety rating: seven stars out of seven.

The rating is based on a comprehensive study that analyzed the activities of more than 400 airlines around the world. Carriers were evaluated according to a variety of criteria, including the level of flight safety, cases of accidents, incidents and air crashes, fleet, passenger reviews, services offered, and etc. Information from aviation authorities of various countries, leading world associations and organizations was taken into account. This year, special attention was also paid to the ongoing anti-coronavirus measures.

In accordance with the Rospotrebnadzor Guidelines on preventing the spread of a new coronavirus infection in transport, Rossiya Airlines takes comprehensive measures to prevent the spread of the virus on board ensuring the maximum safety of passengers.

In accordance with the new rules, passengers are required to use personal respiratory and hand protection equipment during the flight: masks and gloves. This requirement is included in the passenger transportation rules, which the passenger must agree to when purchasing a ticket. The disposable mask must be changed after 3 hours of use. Flight attendants are ready to provide a mask for replacement, when performing flights lasting more than three hours, if necessary.

Norms of mandatory wearing of masks and gloves are determined by sanitary requirements and ensuring safety on board. They apply to passengers and employees of the airline.

We remind that in the summer of 2020, Rossiya Airlines became the best among Russian air carriers, taking 32nd place in the global ranking of the safest airlines in the world, compiled by the German research centre Jet Airliner Crash Data Evaluation Centre (JACDEC).

Rossiya Airlines has been the holder of the IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) certificate since 2007, which is annually confirmed by the successful completion of the operational safety audit of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) for compliance with the requirements and recommended practices. Auditors of the international organization check the airline for more than a thousand operational safety requirements. Control affects all areas of the airline's production activities: organizational structures and management, safe flight operations, flight planning and management, airworthiness and aircraft maintenance, ground handling, aviation security, etc.
