Rossiya Airlines has signed a contract with A-Technics, a provider of aircraft maintenance and repair services

In preparation for the commissioning of Superjet 100 aircraft, Rossiya Airlines has signed a contract with A-Technics, the largest Russian provider of aircraft maintenance and repair services, which is part of Aeroflot Group.

The contract is concluded until the end of 2022 and includes provision of services for operational and periodic maintenance of Superjet 100 at Sheremetyevo Airport, the base for Rossiya Airlines. One of the terms of the contract is also the maintenance of the airline's aircraft at off-base airports.

As a part of the provision of maintenance services, it is planned to place aircraft in a hangar at Sheremetyevo International Airport, engineering support, supply spare parts, as well as store them and lease the equipment necessary for maintenance.

Construction of the hangar at Sheremetyevo Airport was completed in January 2020. In March, a certificate of commissioning was received from the Federal Air Transport Agency. In April, the hangar received a European certificate and starts its operation. The new hangar and the competence of the company A-Technics allow to perform any form of maintenance.

In 2020, Rossiya Airlines started implementing a fundamentally new development strategy, according to which it is planned to expand the fleet of aircraft on a large scale and switch to the use of domestic aircraft. By the end of the year, the airline's fleet will receive up to 10 Superjet 100. They will contribute to the expansion of the route network and increase frequencies in existing directions.
