The Transport Ministry has improved its forecast for Russian airlines’ passenger traffic decline in 2020 to 45% from 53%, Ilya Belavintsev, deputy head of the ministry’s department of state policy in civil aviation, said at the Federation Council on Tuesday. This reported by PRIME.
“We forecast an overall decline of around 45%,” he said.
The ministry earlier projected that domestic airlines’ passenger traffic will decrease by 53.2% to 60 million people in 2020.
