During the exercise, the crews of Mi-24 helicopters will practice piloting at extremely low altitudes with an envelope of the terrain, as well as perform elements of air combat, aerial reconnaissance tasks and piloting techniques in conditions of constantly changing atmospheric pressure, wind direction and speed. In addition, the pilots of Mi-8 transport helicopters will land on unprepared high-altitude areas, areas with a soft cover for landing airborne troops, and also work out the evacuation of conditionally wounded servicemen at the moment of hovering at an altitude of about 20 meters.

The exercise involves 10 Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters, as well as about 70 members of the helicopter regiment's flight and engineering staff. The exercise will end in the middle of this month.
