In the Primorsky territory, the helicopter squadron of the army aviation of the Eastern Military District performed tactical flight tasks for reconnaissance and suppression of air defense systems of a mock enemy.
So, the crews of Ka-52 "Alligator" attack helicopters made single flights using the so-called "free hunting" method. They worked out actions to search, classify and destroy camouflaged ground-based air defense systems of a mock enemy.
At a specialized training ground, the Ka-52 launched unguided air missiles at targets that mimic the air defense systems of a mock enemy. Flights were made both during the day and at night.
The crews of Ka-52 helicopters worked out elements of complex aerobatics and maneuvering, combining them with techniques for conducting air combat in the event of a sudden appearance of an air "enemy".
