In the Khabarovsk territory, the crews of the new anti-aircraft missile and gun systems (AMGS) "Pantsir-S" of the Eastern Military District provided protection of important objects from manned and unmanned means of air attack by a mock enemy. This reported by press-service of Russian Defence Ministry.

As part of the exercise, the combat crews of the "Pantsir-S" AMGS were alerted and marched, accompanied by military police, to the conditional position area, where they organized the protection of important objects and command posts.

During the main stage of the exercise, air defense specialists worked out tasks for detecting, capturing and tracking ultra-maneuverable targets at altitudes of up to 15 km. After repelling the airstrike, the crews worked out an operational change of positions.

Multi-functional supersonic Su-34 fighter-bombers acted as the air enemy and carried out the raid.

In total, more than 200 military personnel took part in the exercise, and about 30 pieces of military equipment were involved, including the "Pantsir-S" anti-aircraft missile and gun systems.
