TsENKI Vostochny Space Center branch specialists together with RSC Progress (both being parts of Roscosmos) have completed another Soyuz-2.1b mechanical unit assembly cycle according to the schedule.

The unit was transferred to the storage mode before the launch campaign commences. This is the second carrier rocket unit assembled at the Vostochny Cosmodrome this year – the first one was ready on January 15 and is now also in the storage mode at the assembly and testing facility.

At the Unified Technical Complex depot, the specialists will soon start unpacking containers with the third carrier rocket units and transporting the units to the assembly and testing facility to assemble the first and second stages.
