Crews of the anti-aircraft missile unit of the SMD, stationed in the Krasnodar region, conducted training on the destruction of air targets of the mock enemy.

Crews of anti-aircraft missile systems S-400 "Triumph" worked out actions to receive a signal about violation of air borders by an aircraft of a mock enemy, captured, escorted and conditionally destroyed an air target. Radio engineering units were also involved in the task of detecting air targets.

During the training with electronic launches, the coherence of the crews and the duty shifts was evaluated, the standards of combat and special training were worked out, maneuvers were performed to change positions and avoid a retaliatory strike of a mock enemy.

More than 200 soldiers and 30 pieces of military equipment were involved in the training.

The S-400 is capable of hitting ballistic and aerodynamic targets, and is designed to protect large industrial and administrative facilities, military bases and control points from attacks by enemy air and space attacks.
