With a special flight operated from Vnukovo International Airport (Moscow) by the most capacious Boeing 747-400 aircraft of the domestic fleet, Rossiya Airlines carried 501 participants representing media and organizers of the Eastern Economic Forum
The Eastern Economic Forum will be held on September 4-6, 2019 in Vladivostok will take place on the campus of Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU). The Forum will be held for the 5th time and is a great venue for discussion on the development of political, economic and cultural ties between Russian and countries of the Asia-Pacific region. The official carrier of the Forum is Aeroflot, which includes Rossiya.
In his greeting speech to the guests of the Forum, the Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, Yury Trutnev, noted: «Our goal is to make the Far East closer to investors and more comfortable for those, who live here, provide people with the confidence that their dreams can come true in the near future».
Rossiya operated flights to 5 cities of the Far East: Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Magadan and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. This programme of Aeroflot is one of the key factors that provide the transport accessibility of the Far East. Currently the price of the flight ticket is unprecedentedly low – 22 thousand rubles for the both-ways ticket of Economy class and 13 200 rubles for the one-way trip despite the date of the purchase.
Rossiya Airlines conducts a systematic work to increase the quality of service on the Far Eastern routes. Thus, during 2019 the onboard menu was renewed, the work on launching the stationary entertainment systems is completed, and streaming multimedia-systems distributing content to passengers’ portable devices, are full-mode working.
