Rossiya Airlines is the winner of the special award of the IX International Conference on Regional Aviation of Russia and CIS 2019 for the contribution to the development of the regional aviation

Eurasian Award in Regional Aviation among airlines and airports is established by the Center for Strategic Research in Civil Aviation and is annually awarded to aviation enterprises for special achievements in the formation of effective route networks that contribute to increasing transport accessibility of regions. The ceremony was conducted on September 18.

Rossiya Airlines is the largest air carrier of the north-west region, which successfully forms a powerful and steadily developing transport hub based on Pulkovo Airport. The airline provides citizens of the northern capital with the wide geography of flights of Aeroflot Group. According to the Pulkovo’s data, the share of the airline is almost one third of the total volume of passengers served in 2018. Geography of Rossiya’s flights from the northern capital airport covers 54 destinations and 30 of them are international ones.

This is not the first time when the airline gains recognition of a professional and expert community. In 2019, the brand of Rossiya Airlines was included into the top-50 most valuable brands of the country according to Brand Finance international consulting agency, and also headed the Rating of Brands of Saint Petersburg in the «Transport» nomination compiled by the «Delovoy Peterburg» publication.
