Ural Airlines, one of Russia’s leading carriers, has taken delivery of its first A320neo on lease from CDB Aviation. With this delivery, Ural Airlines becomes the first operator of the A320neo Family equipped with CFM LEAP-1A engines in Russia.
Ural Airlines’ A320neo features a two-class cabin layout, seating eight passengers in business and 168 in economy. The airline will operate the aircraft on domestic and international routes. Ural Airlines put its first Airbus aircraft into commercial service in 2006 and is currently operating a fleet of 45 A320 Family aircraft.
Featuring the widest single aisle cabin in the sky, the A320neo Family incorporates the very latest technologies including new generation engines and Sharklets, which together deliver at least 15 percent fuel savings at delivery and 20 percent by 2020.
