The specialists of RSC Energia (part of Roscosmos State Corporation) and Roscosmos core enterprises continue working with the Soyuz MS-14 crewed spacecraft at the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
On August 5, 2019, the spacecraft solar batteries check was completed in the assembly and testing facility at the pad No. 254.
The solar batteries check process includes opening the stand pad housing the spacecraft, removal solar batteries protective panels and solar array deployment test. After that, the flasher test is carried out using the special illuminating equipment. After the test completion the arrays were folded and covered with the protective panels.
The Soyuz-2.1a carrying the Soyuz MS-14 spacecraft is scheduled to launch on August 22, 2019 from the launching pad No.31 at the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
