On August 15, 2019, the Chief Medical Commission held a meeting and analyzed the medical examination data of the ISS-61/62/EP-19 prime and backup crews’ commanders.
The Commission included the Roscosmos Cosmonaut Training Center representatives, as well as Russia's Federal Medico-Biological Agency, Institute of Medicobiological Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Russia's Ministry of Health and Russia's Ministry of Defence representatives. As a result of the meeting Roscosmos cosmonauts Oleg Skripochka and Sergey Ryzhikov are cleared for the spaceflight as medically fit.
The launch of the crewed Soyuz MS-15 spacecraft with Roscosmos cosmonauts Oleg Skripochka and Sergey Ryzhikov, as well as NASA astronaut Jessica Meir and Emirati astronaut Hazza Al Mansouri is scheduled for September 25, 2019 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
