Proton-M carrier rocket delivered to Baikonur Cosmodrome for launch of Eutelsat satellites

Proton-M carrier rocket, which is to be used to launch the EUTELSAT 5 West B and MEV-1 spacecraft, has been delivered from the Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center (part of Roscosmos State Corporation) to the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

The train carrying the Proton-M space rocket components (three stages, the Briz-M booster, the adapter system and the payload fairing) arrived at the Proton Space Rocket Complex at the Baikonur Cosmodrome for the spacecraft cluster launch preparations.

In the coming days, the scheduled technological operations are to begin at the assembly and testing facility 92A-50. The works are carried out according to the plan of the rocket preparations at the spaceport technical complex.
