Crews of Ka-52, Mi-28N, and Mi-35M attack helicopters of the 4th Army of the air defence and air force of the Southern MD provided cover on the march from the air of a column of military equipment of the 49th combined arms army.
The servicemen searched for ambushes and artillery positions on vehicle routes.
During the movement of the columns, the guard and defence units practiced elements to repel attacks of the sabotage groups.
The command post exercise involves the headquarters of two combined-arms formations, army aviation crews, as well as formations and military units of command and control and a total of more than 5,000 servicemen and about 300 units of military and special equipment, including more than 20 helicopters and airplanes.
