LLC Moscow Cargo became the winner of the Eurasian award in the field of aviation marketing 2019 in the special nomination "For the launch of the most modern and high-tech cargo air terminal in the Eurasian region". The solemn award ceremony took place on the 8th of July in Krasnoyarsk during the Eurasian forum for the air freight NETWORK CARGO development.
The expert Committee of the award includes representatives of the professional community with experience in leadership in the aviation industry, government agencies, industry public institutions, and associations. Selection of experts was primarily based on an assessment of the performance of cargo operators and the technical characteristics of cargo terminals.
By results of 2018, Sheremetyevo was recognized as the leader in cargo turnover among UIA airports: the airport's share in the market was 63%. The new cargo complex Sheremetyevo Moscow Cargo with its 42.300 square meters in area is the largest in Russia, CIS, and Eastern Europe. The level of technical equipment of the complex corresponds to the leading cargo terminal in the world. Storage and handling Moscow Cargo uses a unique for Russia automated system Lödige, which allows to reduce the processing time and the furnishing of goods, improve safety, make more transparent the process of movement of cargo along the route, to expand the scope of IT interactions with customers and airlines.
One of the priorities of LLC Moscow Cargo is customer focus, which implies the ability to track the shipper and consignee during all stages of cargo handling through online services on the company's website, as well as strict control over compliance with the SLA in cooperation with partner airlines.
Commissioning of Moscow Cargo terminal in 2017 contributed to the strengthening of Sheremetyevo as a leading cargo hub in Russia and Eastern Europe, and to the development of trade between Europe and Asia. Modern infrastructure of the cargo complex and favorable geographical location allow to fully meet the high requirements of customers and create favorable conditions for cooperation with existing partners and attract new airlines.
