Aeroflot ranks first in Europe by punctuality in June 2019, according to the world's leading provider of travel data and insight OAG.

Acc. to the monthly OAG On-Time Performance Report, Aeroflot has showed top result among European carriers with global reach across the world’s 50 most punctual airlines rating. In June 2019, 85.4% were operated on schedule. The Russian airline has strongly outperformed its major European peers.

Earlier this summer, Aeroflot received five-star punctuality rating from OAG, becoming the only Russian and the largest European airline by passenger traffic to receive the highest score. Aeroflot made it to the only 10% of On-Time Performance Star Ratings to receive the highest five-star rating.

In 2018, Aeroflot took a number of measures that helped significantly improve punctuality. These included strict implementation of boarding regulations and hand-luggage requirements. Future plans include innovations based on the latest digital technologies, such as biometric controls, that will significantly accelerate pre-flight airport procedures for passengers.
