Aeroflot cancels flights between Moscow and Prague due Czech permit flight revocations

According to the statement, several of the company's flights from Moscow to Prague as well as those from Prague to Moscow have been suspended due to a decision by the Czech authorities to revoke flight permits.

Because of the decision by the Czech Republic’s aviation authorities to revoke earlier issued permits for Moscow - Prague – Moscow flights Aeroflot has to cancel the following flights: SU2010/2011, SU2014/2015, SU2016/2017 and SU2018/2019 scheduled on 2 July, the airline said in a statement.

Aeroflot will continue to operate SU2012/2013 and SU2024/2025 flights acc. to schedule.

Although Aeroflot has technical capacity to operate flights, the Czech aviation authorities have decided to annul flight permits.

Passengers of cancelled flights will be carried by  SU2012/2013 and SU2024/2025 as well as being transported by other carriers. Passengers will be provided accordingly in line with Federal Aviation regulations and Aeroflot standards.

Passengers booked on flights between Moscow and Prague on 2 July (including SU2017 flight on 3 July)  are eligible to get refund exclusive of taxes and be issued a reroute ticket to an alternative point in Europe free of a reroute fee.

Aeroflot will closely monitor the situation. All affected passengers will be informed via Aeroflot’s contact center.  Information on all updates will be published on the airline’s website and its official social media accounts.
