Russian aircraft is suspected of having violated the Finnish airspace on Wednesday, the Finnish Defense Ministry said.

"The jet belonging to the Russian state is suspected of violating Finland’s airspace near the town of Porvoo in the morning of July 17," the ministry’s statement reads.

It was also specified that the Finnish Border Guard is investigating the details of the incident.
