The airlines of the S71 group have summed up the operations results for May 2019. Over the past month, the airline carried 1,542,707 passengers, an 18.4% increase over May 2018.
1 130 516 passengers took S7 Airlines flights within Russia, which is 18.1% more than the respective number for May 2018. The growth in travel to international destinations was 19.2%. In May 2019, 412,391 passengers were transported on the airline’s international flights.
“S7 Airlines continues to expand its geographical range of flights in a number of key development areas: inter-regional transportation, and hub strengthening in Novosibirsk and Vladivostok. Last month, S7 Airlines became the first airline to start flights from the capital of Primorye to Taipei. In addition, in May, S7 Airlines started flying from Moscow to Blagoveshchensk, which is the airline’s longest flight. Also, for the first time ever, passengers were able to take direct flights from Novosibirsk to Guangzhou,” noted Igor Veretennikov, S7 Group Commercial Director.
Passenger traffic for the month increased by 19.5% and amounted to 3 211 835 thousand pkm.
