S7 Airlines, a member of the oneworld^® global aviation alliance, has been recognized as one of the top three airlines in Eastern Europe according to Skytrax, a prestigious international ranking. The airline has risen by two positions compared to last year in the global list.

The prestigious British agency Skytrax conducts independent investigation of airlines based on passenger surveys on an annual basis. Every year, millions of travelers around the world participate in the passenger experience survey and choose the winners. This year’s results were announced at a ceremony organized as part of the Paris International Air Show, which is currently taking place at Le Bourget.

S7 Airlines is ranked third among airlines in Eastern Europe and is included in the TOP-100 airlines of the world.

The study results were determined based on surveying 21.65 million passengers from 100 countries across the world. Passengers could share their travel experience from the moment of purchasing their ticket all the way to baggage collection at the destination airport. Criteria taken into accounting to determine the rating include the usability of the airline’s website, quality of online services, speed and convenience of checking in at the airport, transfer options, comfort and cleanliness on board, professionalism and friendliness of the crews, and employees’ ability to solve any problems that arose. Overall, more than 300 airlines were mentioned in the participants’ questionnaires. The study was conducted from September 2018 to May 2019.
