Russian airborne instructors to train Serbian paratroopers for Slavic Brotherhood 2019 international exercise

Within the Slavic Brotherhood 2019 international exercise, a Serbian unit is to parachute from military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces with D-10 parachute systems, which are in service with Russian airborne troops.

On June 17 to 21, Russian instructors will train Serbian paratroopers to use parachute systems. When practising elements of a jump on the ground they use equipment and simulators of the field airborne training complex specially delivered from Pskov.

The planned joint Russian-Serbian-Belarusian tactical exercise, conducted in the framework of international military cooperation on June 14-27 is attended by more than 600 troops from three countries.

At the first stage of the exercise, which takes place on June 15 - 21, the troops will practise joint tactics of the international coalition unit and will conduct fire and airborne training.
