By the end of 2020, the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Federation will receive 20 fighter jets of the 4 ++ Su-35S generation, Deputy Defence Minister Alexei Krivoruchko said on Wednesday during a visit to the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Plant.

“The company fulfills all its obligations on time, this year we will receive several aircraft even ahead of time. In accordance with the terms of the existing contract, during this and next year we expect to receive another 20 Su-35S fighter jets," - he said.

Krivoruchko noted that the plant is constantly working on the modernization of this fighter jets, taking into account the Syrian experience. In particular, all types of air-to-air and air-to-surface missiles will be able to be used on the following modifications of the Su-35S.
