On May 14 specialists from RSC Energia and SC Yuzhnyi transported Crew Transportation Spacecraft Soyuz МS-13 to the vacuum chamber at Baikonur cosmodrome for further leak tests. This reports by press-service of corporation.

As of today the vacuum chamber test cycle for space vehicles using helium-air medium in tested volumes remains the most objective leak check method used under ground conditions, ensuring verification of the specified strict pressurization integrity requirements.

The launch of Soyuz MS-13 to the International Space Station is scheduled for July 20, 2019 from the Baikonur cosmodrome. The spacecraft shall deliver a crew consisting of commander Alexander Skvortsov (Roscosmos), Luca Parmitano (flight engineer, ESA) and Andrew Morgan (flight engineer, NASA) to the ISS.
