The Northern Fleet anti-aircraft teams took the first place in the field training competition conducted among the S-300PM2 Favorit and S-400 Triumf anti-aircraft missile systems. During the second preliminary the anti-aircraft gunners became the best among the other teams.

Military division personnel stationing in Severodvinsk and Olenegorsk performed in the participation carried out in Kaliningrad region. They qualified for the next all-army stage, which will be conducted in mid-April at the Ashuluk training ground, Astrakhan.

The S-300 and S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems are the main complexes, which are in service with the Northern Fleet Air Defence. They confidently control air space at the Russian Arctic frontiers.
