Rossiya Airlines is the winner of the special nomination «Progress of service» within the framework of the «Service in the Russian sky» rating awarded by the largest industry agency «AviaPort»
Results of the annual rating of domestic airlines «Service in the Russian sky – 2019» were announced within an expert meeting of the International Industry Forum SKYSERVICE 2019 – the largest event in the sphere of civil aviation dedicated to development of onboard services. During the meeting, a ceremony of awarding the winners of special nominations was held - the prize «Progress in service» of Rossiya was presented by Ilya Zotov, the chairman of the All-Russian Association of Passengers.
According to the results of 2018-2019, «AviaPort » noted Rossiya’s the most rapid dynamics of service improvements among other Russian carriers. The integral assessment of the service on board of the airline’s liners within the framework of the rating has increased more than that of other carriers, due to the emergence of new services, as well as the general trend in the quality of the product provided.
Along with the expansion of the geography of flights, the airline has significantly improved the quality of service provided to passengers over the past year. The project of the streaming entertainment system for distributing content to mobile devices of passengers, stationary multimedia systems were activated on board, the in-flight catering menu for all classes of service was updated, travel kits for Business class passengers were introduced, and innovative children's kits with augmented reality technologies were developed.
«Service in the Russian sky» is the annual survey of the quality of services on board of domestic airlines, conducted by experts of one of the most authoritative Russian industry agencies «AviaPort». In order to implement an objective comparison of airlines by service level, the agency developed a unique methodology for assessing the range and quality of services offered both on board and through remote communication channels: on the airline’s website or through its mobile application. The main difference of the project from other ratings is that the agency experts independently and comprehensively evaluated the service on almost 150 parameters.
Rossiya Airlines is a part of Aeroflot Group. The total amount of the airline’s route network directions is more than 130 destinations. In 2018, Rossiya has transported more than 11 million passengers, recognized as a the leader in transfer flight through Pulkovo Airport, and was honored with the Skyway Service Award in various nominations – «The best airline in tourist destinations», «The best Economy Class, domestic regular transportation». Since 2016, the airline is implementing a programme of the fleet and aircraft cabins renewal. Since 2014, the airline is the official carrier of FC Zenit.
